ACQSC assesses facilities at minimum every 3 years for accredited providers, more often if risks are identified. Unannounced visits may occur at any time.

What is SIRS in aged care?

Serious Incident Response Scheme — mandatory reporting of Priority 1 incidents within 24 hours, Priority 2 within 30 days to ACQSC.
