Live Crypto Price Dashboard
Track live cryptocurrency prices, 24h changes, market cap, and trading volume for the top 50 coins — updated every 60 seconds via CoinGecko. Filter, sort, and click any coin for its 7-day price chart.
How the Live Crypto Price Dashboard Works
This real-time cryptocurrency price tracker fetches live market data directly from the CoinGecko public API — one of the most reliable and widely used crypto data sources, serving over 900 million API calls per month. The dashboard displays the top 50 cryptocurrencies ranked by market capitalization, with prices, 24-hour percentage changes, market cap figures, and trading volume updated every 60 seconds.
All data is fetched directly in your browser. Nothing is sent to our servers. Prices are cached for 2 minutes in your browser's localStorage, so if your connection drops temporarily, you still see the last known data with a timestamp showing when it was last refreshed.
Understanding Crypto Market Data
Each column in the dashboard gives you a different view of a coin's market position:
- Price — the current trading price in your selected currency (USD, EUR, GBP, BDT, or INR)
- 24h % — how much the price has changed in the last 24 hours. Green means the price has risen; red means it has fallen.
- Market Cap — the total value of all coins in circulation (price × circulating supply). This is the most common way to rank cryptocurrencies by size.
- 24h Volume — how much of the coin was traded in the last 24 hours. High volume often confirms a price move is significant.
Click any coin name to see its 7-day price history as a line chart, giving you a quick visual of recent price momentum.
What Is the Fear & Greed Indicator?
The market sentiment bar at the top of the dashboard shows a simplified Fear & Greed reading based on the average 24-hour price change across all top 50 coins. When most coins are rising strongly (average change above +3%), the market is in "Extreme Greed" — often a caution signal that prices may be overheated. When most coins are falling (average change below -3%), the market is in "Extreme Fear" — historically a potential buying opportunity for long-term investors.
This indicator is a simplified version of the well-known Crypto Fear & Greed Index and is intended as a quick pulse-check, not financial advice.
Tips for Using This Dashboard
Use the search box to quickly filter coins by name or symbol — type "BTC" or "bitcoin" to jump straight to Bitcoin. Switch currencies using the dropdown to see prices in your local currency. The auto-refresh toggle keeps prices current while you monitor the market; turn it off if you want a static snapshot to study. You can click any column header to sort the table by that metric — for example, sorting by 24h % lets you instantly see today's biggest movers. Last updated: March 2026.
