This tool uses Transformers.js with the RMBG (Remove Background) deep learning model to perform image segmentation directly inside your web browser. When you upload an image, it never leaves your device. The AI model is downloaded once (~40MB) and cached in your browser for offline use.

The model analyzes each pixel of your image to determine which pixels belong to the foreground subject and which belong to the background. It then creates a precise mask and outputs a PNG with a transparent background — all computed locally using your device's processor.

  • Step 2: The RMBG AI model (downloaded once, then cached) processes your image locally.
