Job Application Tracker
Keep your job search organized and confidential. Track every application, interview, and offer — all stored locally on your device. No sign-up, no server, no data sharing.
Why Track Job Applications
Job searching can be overwhelming. Without a system, it is easy to forget which companies you applied to, miss follow-up deadlines, or lose track of interview dates. This tracker gives you a clear overview of your entire job search in one place with status tracking across five stages: applied, screening, interview, offer, and rejected. The dashboard calculates your response rate and interview rate automatically, helping you understand how your applications perform and where to adjust your strategy.
Keep Your Job Search Confidential
Your job search is personal, especially if you are currently employed. Most tracking tools require accounts and store your career data on their servers. This tool respects your privacy by storing everything locally in your browser's localStorage. No one can see what companies you are applying to, what positions you are targeting, or what notes you have written. Your career moves stay confidential until you are ready to share them.
Understanding Your Job Search Metrics
The dashboard tracks two key metrics that reveal application effectiveness. Response rate measures any application that moved beyond "Applied" status, including screening, interview, or offer. Interview rate counts applications that reached the interview or offer stage. For online applications, a 10-20% response rate and 2-5% offer rate are typical benchmarks. If your rates fall below these averages, consider tailoring each application more specifically to the job description.
