How the Watch Speed Calculator Works

This calculator divides the total duration of your video or audio content by the selected playback speed multiplier to determine the adjusted watch time. The formula is straightforward: adjusted duration equals original duration divided by speed. At 2x speed, a 60-minute video takes 30 minutes. At 1.5x speed, the same video takes 40 minutes. The calculator also computes time saved by subtracting the adjusted duration from the original, and expresses savings as a percentage of the original duration.
