The Premier League Table Calculator is a free, browser-based tool that builds the final 2026/27 table from your own match predictions. It starts from the real live standings, lists every fixture still to be played, and re-sorts the table the moment you call a result. No sign-up, nothing leaves your browser.

Start from the real table, not a blank one

Most table tools ask you to imagine the whole season from nothing. This one begins with the actual current Premier League standings, refreshed nightly from the official feed. Matches that have already been played are counted and gone from the fixture list, so you are only ever calling games that genuinely remain. Pick nothing at all and you are simply looking at the live table.

Answer the question you actually have

Nobody wonders about a whole season in the abstract. They wonder whether their club can still reach the top four, whether nine points from five games is enough to stay up, or what happens if the two clubs above them both drop points. Those are match-by-match questions, and this calculator is built to answer them: change one result and watch every position below it move.

    What it does not do

It does not predict goal difference. Choosing win, draw or loss says nothing about the score, so goal difference and goals scored stay exactly as they are in the real table and are used only to separate clubs level on points. That is a deliberate limit rather than an oversight — entering 380 scorelines is a different, much slower tool, and for almost every question people ask, points are what matter.

    How the season is decided

Twenty clubs play 380 matches across 38 matchweeks. The top four go into the Champions League league phase and fifth place takes a Europa League spot, with domestic cup winners able to shuffle the places below. The bottom three are relegated to the Championship. This season Coventry City, Ipswich Town and Hull City came up — Coventry and Ipswich automatically, Hull through the play-offs — replacing West Ham United, Burnley and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Prefer to order the clubs instead?

If you would rather drag all twenty clubs into a finishing order than call individual games, the Premier League table predictor does exactly that and scores your prediction against the real table every matchweek. There are versions for the Championship, La Liga, Serie A and the Bundesliga, plus the UCL bracket predictor for the European season.

    Frequently Asked Questions

How does the Premier League table calculator work?

It loads the real current Premier League table, then lists every fixture still to be played. For each one you pick W, D or L for the home side, and the table re-sorts instantly. Only the fixtures you actually pick are counted, so with nothing picked you are looking at the genuine live standings.

What is the difference between this and a table predictor?

A predictor asks you to drag clubs into a finishing order. This calculator works the other way round: you call individual match results and the final table is calculated from them. If you would rather order the clubs directly, use our Premier League table predictor instead — it also scores your prediction against the real table each matchweek.

    Does it predict goal difference?

No, and it does not pretend to. Picking win, draw or loss says nothing about the score, so goal difference and goals scored are carried across from the real table exactly as they stand. Clubs level on points are separated by their current goal difference. If you want goal difference to move, you would need to enter scorelines, which is a much slower job across a full season.

Can I simulate the rest of the season in one click?

Yes. “Simulate the rest” fills in every remaining fixture at once using roughly 45% home wins, 26% draws and 29% away wins, which is close to the long-run Premier League split. A pure coin flip would ignore home advantage and produce a table nobody would believe. You can then change any individual result.

How many matches are in a Premier League season?

Three hundred and eighty. Twenty clubs each play the other nineteen twice, home and away, across 38 matchweeks.

Which positions qualify for Europe and which go down?

The top four qualify for the Champions League league phase and fifth place goes to the Europa League, with domestic cup winners able to change the picture below that. The bottom three — 18th, 19th and 20th — are relegated to the Championship.

Who came up and who went down this season?

Coventry City, Ipswich Town and Hull City came up from the Championship — Coventry and Ipswich automatically, Hull through the play-offs. They replaced West Ham United, Burnley and Wolverhampton Wanderers, who finished 18th, 19th and 20th in 2025/26.

    Are my picks saved?

Yes. Every pick is stored in your browser using localStorage, so you can close the tab and come back to the same table. Nothing is uploaded to a server and no account is needed. “Clear my picks” resets everything.

Does the table update when real matches are played?

Yes. The starting table is refreshed from the official standings feed every night, so results that have actually happened are already counted and drop out of the fixture list. Your picks for the fixtures still to come are kept.

Can I share my final table?

Yes. “Copy My Table” copies a text version for WhatsApp, Reddit or a group chat, and “Download Image” saves a clean graphic of your calculated table.
