When a GhanaPostGPS Code Does Not Work for a Delivery

Most failed deliveries in Ghana are not caused by a wrong digital address but by how the code was captured and shared. Three problems account for nearly all of them. First, the code was generated while standing at the roadside or at a neighbouring shop rather than at the doorway itself — each code covers a small square, so a few metres of drift sends the rider to the compound next door. Second, formatting: the code is a region letter pair, a district digit, then the area and unique portion, and couriers reject it when the hyphen is dropped, when a letter O is typed instead of a zero, or when it is pasted with a trailing space from a chat message.
