How much can I cash out from my balance?
The charge comes out of your balance on top of the cash you take, so a ৳10,000 balance never gives ৳10,000 in hand.
bKash cash out charge: agent, Priyo Agent or ATM
bKash has three cash out prices. An ordinary agent costs ৳18.50 per thousand, the same whether you use the app or dial *247#. If you set 2 Priyo Agents in the app, cash out at those two agents costs ৳13.95 per thousand for up to ৳50,000 in a month. Cash out at a BRAC Bank, City Bank or Q-Cash ATM costs ৳14.90 per thousand.
On ৳10,000 that is ৳185.00 at an ordinary agent, ৳139.50 at a Priyo Agent and ৳149.00 at an ATM. Setting Priyo Agents is free, so anyone who uses the same nearby agent every month saves ৳45.50 on each ৳10,000.
bKash send money charge and the ৳25,000 rule
Send Money is not simply free. bKash counts how much you have sent in the calendar month. To your 5 Priyo numbers it is free until the month's total reaches ৳25,000, then ৳5 per transfer up to ৳50,000, then ৳10. To any other number it is ৳5 per transfer until ৳25,000 and ৳10 after that.
The transfer that crosses a line pays the higher fee. bKash's own example: you have sent ৳24,500 to Priyo numbers this month and now send ৳600. The total becomes ৳25,100, so this transfer costs ৳5.
bKash to bank transfer charge
bKash states that the bKash to Bank charge varies by bank, up to 1.25%. That is at most ৳12.50 per thousand, or ৳125 on ৳10,000. The app shows the exact charge for your bank before you confirm. Moving money the other way, from your bank account to bKash through the app, is free.
